Asbestos question?

A friend of mine works with asbestos every day for the past couple months,and i know it can cause cancer.He comes home every evening not feeling well from breathing it all day long.I was wondering if there any home remedies to feel better or prevent any bad things.I know it’s good to drink milk cause it cleans your lungs but that’s the only thing i know regarding this.Any comments would be appreciated.

If you live in the US, your friend isn’t being exposed to asbestos at all because he would have to wear a respirator at all times. There is nothing that cleans the lungs, at any rate, and nothing that would get asbestos particles out of them. If your friend actually works with asbestos and doesn’t wear a respirator, then he needs to quit for the sake of his life. Otherwise, he needs to visit a doctor to find out why he’s not feeling well. Wearing a respirator can be a challenge for those with breathing difficulties, and it may be part of the problem for him. If he is in the US and working with asbestos unprotected, then he needs to contact the health department and the labor department. It’s highly illegal and would need to be shut down immediately.

If he is working with asbestos and he thinks he has a related health problem he needs to contact OSHA if mine related contact MSHA. He will not be getting himself in trouble when he dose this federal laws protect him. If he is having problems others may be too. Any one can call in a complaint even you.
