Years ago I removed asbestos sheets from a garage roof, having been told by Building Regs. people that the asbestos products were over 90% cement and the asbestos used was not the dangerous stuff, like they used in lagging pipes. What is really going on with me? Why can’t the doctor heal my respiratory problems?

I am beyond miserable! I have a feeling in my throat like when you inhale a powder by accident. I feel like something is sitting on my chest. And I have the most productive cough my doctor has ever seen. He said he had never coughed up as much as me. Like at least 16 oz at once.
My granddaddy died of asbestosis and I’m scared I could be that sick or at least have chronic bronchitis like he did. My xray shows the ateletecsis (collapsed lung).

What does it sound like especially since I am always bronchil?

I have a home built in 1978 and I want to get rid of the popcorn ceiling. My realtor suggested I get it tested for asbestos prior to removal, but…if I get it tested and it is positive, it could cost several thousand dollars to remove it. Should I test for it?

This is not strictly speaking a question but a warning, there is a lot of contaminated bud out there at the moment being shipped from the Netherlands. They are spraying it with an etchant glass frosting aerosol to make it appear as if it is more resinous and to add weight, there are tiny microscopic glass beads,silicone and chemicals in it which cause sore throats, headache, cough and cuts in the mouth in the short term but could cause silicosis(fatal) and asbestosis in the long term, there have also been reports of people coughing up blood.This is extremely wide spread in particular in the UK but has been found in Dutch coffee shops and the deep dark woods in Finland. Please spread the word to anyone you know who smokes it as the government has only just issued a health warning even though its been around as long as early 2006 and even then it was a brief mention on the welsh news. The best way to test is to wet your finger and press it into the bud to test for grit or sand.
Has now been found in the USA as well. Please don’t attempt to put a filter in either as it is still poisonous.Think how many chemicals get through cigs.
