    Not sure what your asking. Seems you answered your own Question. The fiberglass like particle from asbestos are inhaled and attach themselves to lungs and surrounding membrane making it difficult to breath and causing extreme pulmonary problems which can lead to death. Asbestosis

I can’t remember exactly what happens (as I learnt this in primary school), but when a tiny piece of asbestos fibre gets into the lungs, it can get infected and cause mesothelioma. It is really nasty! It kills you very slowly and once you’ve been diagnosed, you’d best start making arrangements.

    The goods news, is that more and more people (and mining companies) are aware of the dangers associated with asbestos. So we wont have another Wittenoon (Western Australia) on our hands
